I guess it is kind of hard to see how the competition is established and advanced while you were away. You have to start to get a clientele from zero. I imagine that it is pretty scary for some people. It was for me for sure. Though I didn't tell anybody. And the 1-2 years of not much money coming in in contrast to the fat envelope you used to get on the ship. Some will find it better just to get a job somewhere.
