Upgrade of deck computer in Noritsu Minilabs

NemoTECH company of Poland provides upgrades of Japanese minilabs machines Noritsu QSS 3000, QSS 3001 and QSS 3101 which are used in the photographic plants all over the world. Modification refers to the upgrade of an internal computer in the machine.

Within the service the internal computer that manages printing preparations is replaced. Instead of the old unit a new deck computer with high computing speed is installed and adopted. Additionally operating software is installed as well as all programs previously existing on the machine such e.g. Main System Software QSS, Profile Data, Digital Ice, Multi-Frame Print and others depending on the machine and the additional software installed on it.

During service all former set-ups and configurations are restored including working parameters of the machine, LAN settings, labels, multimedia readers and optical drivers. The general assumption is to restore the prior, original environment of the machine as it was before the upgrades. The computer’s units that are disassembled from the machine i.e. main-board, processor, operating memory and hard disks remain customer’s property. There is a full possibility of restoring the machine’s condition to the state before the upgrade unless the customer modifies the above mentioned equipment, including the hard disk.

The service is conducted by NemoTECH engineers at the customer’s seat; the time of service is estimated roughly 5 hours. The time and date of upgrade is adjusted according to the customer’s plant working hours and therefore does not interfere with the plant’s work. Upgrade of the deck computer in these machines enables a several times increase in the computing speed of the minilab. Among our customers that made the upgrade there is a significant increase of speed observed: 400% while working with digital files and 30% while working with negatives.
The deck computer’s upgrade in the minilab improves the machine efficacy and simultaneously increases the comfort and effectiveness of the work.

The cost for service is 1500 EUR + VAT (new computer is included)
