The Minilab Refurbishing

All the used minlabs go thru an extensive and professional refurbishing to achive the "like new" quality prior to be included in our offers.

The process starts with a total disassembling of the machines. Part then get inspected up to the smallest and those that show wear or fault gets replaced by new ones.

The rest goes thru a thorough cleaning. Signs of all crystallization, chemical stains, rust gets removed and treated. Tanks, rollers, racks, pipes etc. washed until they're pristine.

Meanwile the bodywork of the minilabs goes thru repairs when needed, then sanding and painting with original colors piece by piece. After drying they get relabled with all new original factory stickers. 

Once the parts are dry and the quality of painting and cleaning had been inspected and redone if necessary, the minlabs get reassembled again by professional technicians ensuring that everything goes where it belongs.

The next step is testing. The labs go thru a number of tests during this phase. Everything must be perfect before they are ready to be offered. The minilabs get filled up with chemicals, calibrated and tested with paper. All the software gets updated to the latest version. Digital minilabs go thru further testing and calibration of the print heads, lazers etc. by qualified personnel until they are ready to be sold.

After the testing and calibration is done the minilabs get cleaned once again from the chemicals and get their standard accessories. All minilabs come with two paper magazines, some spare parts of those that are commonly most to be worn, a set of chemical filters, manuals and the back up of all the software. Negative processors get splicing and numbering units as well as leadercards. 

The final but just as important phase is the packaging. It is in everybody's best interest that your totally refurbished minilab arrives to you in the same condition as we sent it. That is why all the minilabs gets a heavy duty protecting casing. First a platform is made from stong wood covered with plywood. The minilab's feet will be fixed to this platform to avoid slipping. After this a wooden frame comes over the lab and that covered with thick, sturdy cardboard. The packaging is always optimized to suit the method or shipment should it be air, land or sea freight.
