full lenght portrait on green screenIfyou use green screen and you take full length portraits you mayfind that there is something wrong. There are no shadows. Unless this iswhat you want, for example totally mask out the subject forsome illustration, it will end up looking unnatural. Like if the subjectwas floating in the air. Primatte can reserve some of the shadows ifyou have a very evenly lit background which is also not simple withfull length.

What I ended up doing is on an empty layer kind of re-draw the original shadow, then blur, it blend it. See the picture. Itis already better but It is still not the real thing plus it is tediouswork and consumes up a lot of time that could be charged for already onthe next project.

Of course it would be logical to use some realbackground instead but it is really not an option for me right now.And it should be figured out anyway.

If you have a better method, or worse but faster let us know. Leave a comment.

Green Screen Light Setup
Here's a good set of tips on chroma key studio setup, recommending using floor light to avoid the massive spills on the models legs when doing full length. Chroma Studio, I still don't have a real good solution for the shadows yet however.
