One never really gives a flying until it actually happened. Some way or another my CF card got corrupted, with the all important pics of the candidates of a local party for next month's Czech municipal elections on it of course. Being a tight-arse I was looking for a freeware that could recover them, perhaps, hopefully, fingers crossed, but nothing I found. Then I downloaded a bunch of demos and, comparing prices and functions I found a perfect no-brainer for 20 USD. CardRaider from www.ecamm.com. It found and recovered all my RAW files really quick and smooth. I'm saved. And now even for the future.
So. I can only recommend it.
